RSK Micro Data Centre for HPC/AI

RSK MicroDataCentre for HPC/AI is a fully-featured, entry-level, all-in-one computing centre housed in a single rack ranging from 24U to 42U (including cooling and power supply infrastructure) designed for high-performance computing, machine learning and deep learning tasks. This is a fully integrated solution delivering up to several hundred TFLOPS/TOPS, based on the ‘RSK Tornado’ cluster architecture developed by the RSK Group of Companies.

The solution comprises all the necessary subsystems of a modern data centre: a software-defined, task-specific computing array of high-performance servers and data storage systems, communication networks, and power supply, cooling and fire suppression subsystems. All subsystems are fully integrated and managed using the vertically integrated BazIS RSK software. The RSK micro-data centre possesses all the advanced features of a full-scale data centre, whilst combining such essential characteristics as: autonomy, ease of configuration, mobility and rapid commissioning. All you need to do is add your users and you can start solving your tasks! The solution can be adapted and configured on the fly to suit the specific needs of the system user.

The RSK micro-data centre for HPC/AI is built on the ‘RSK Tornado’ cluster architecture, utilising a number of unique in-house developments by RSK that enable the creation of ultra-compact, highly efficient systems that hold world records for energy efficiency (RSK supercomputers consume significantly less electricity than systems from other suppliers with comparable performance), compactness (RSC solutions reduce the floor space occupied by a computing complex by up to six times), as well as in terms of computational and energy density, whilst ensuring the highest level of reliability.

The RSK MicroDataCentre solution enables the rapid deployment of a fully functional computing complex with minimal capital expenditure and without the need for major construction work. This solution can be used to build a network of small branch data centres that can be integrated with the organisation’s main data centre.

Applications: high-performance computing (HPC), 2D/3D graphics (CG), machine learning (ML/DL) and artificial intelligence (AI), and more, thanks to flexible configuration and expansion options.

Applications of the MicroDataCentre RSK for HPC/AI: for organisations engaged on a permanent basis in scientific, engineering and design-related high-performance computing and the creation of digital content, machine learning tasks and big data processing, and which wish to have full control over computational tasks, their results and data storage in the data centre, whilst ensuring centralised and secure management of all processes, and which face strict constraints in terms of deadlines, floor space, cooling and energy budgets.

Versatility: The micro-data centre RSK comprises all the necessary software-configurable subsystems of a modern computing cluster, such as: a field of high-performance servers (x86, GPU, FPGA, Elbrus 4C/8C/8CM), a modular software-defined architecture, a high-speed storage system with Storage-on-Demand technology, communication and service networks, and the BazIS RSK power supply, cooling and control subsystem.

At the customer’s request, the RSK MicroData Centre can be equipped with access control systems (ACS), uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, fire suppression systems and other equipment.
